In our last post, I mentioned how the builders were supposed to have foundation put down by the end of the week. Well, needless to say, that was a Sunday that we went out there and took pictures. We decided we would travel out there again on Monday, since I was still in town, to just see perhaps they had poured the foundation yet. Sure enough, they poured the foundation Monday morning! It was a weird transition to see one day with no foundation, and the very next day with foundation poured. Below are some more pictures of that transition.
An even weirder transition came to our realization yesterday when we went out to see what they have done... the framing was complete! We both were and still are in awe of how quickly they can frame a house. Unlike most home builders, History Maker Homes builds sections of the framing in a controlled facility outside of the home site. Using laser guided machinery to cut the wood and build each section gives your framing a more perfect measurement. They then deliver each section to the home site to be put together. That is why they are able to facilitate such a fast framing build. Below you will see the results of which our shock and awe came from... our home beginning to take shape.
Love having a covered patio
Master bedroom
Post tension cables (10,000 psi)

Looking from back of house to front
Custom archways (were not in original plans)
Last but certainly not least, we have another video for you to enjoy. It's a quick walk-through of the house starting from the outside. At this rate, we will be updating more often. GOD BLESS!
